this is the wall in my study. A VNC chart (both sides) covering Southern Ontario and some of the USA.

I"m going to mark off every time I visit an airport on it. I'm anticipating it becoming quite the art installation.

Weather permitting The Mission starts tomorrow.

Mission Not-so-brief ing

I’m a newly minted Private Pilot. You can read more about me and my mental meanderings here

Now I’m looking for stuff to do with it. And then it came to me.

I’m going to visit every single airport on my Sectional Chart.

This is going to be ….. Interesting.

There are a few international airports, some military and some at the other extreme, small strips.

This is obviously going to be a long term plan. But two and a bit years ago I was scared stupid to get into a plane. Now I’m a pilot.

I’ve gotten all the hard stuff out the way, anything else is just logistics!
